Valeria is a Junior Associate in the Corporate and Commercial Department. She advises on matters related to company restructuring and formation. She also advises on commercial contracts for the Spanish speaking community in the UAE.
Valeria has a Colombian and United States origin and received her Bachelor’s in Law degree from San Pablo CEU Madrid and further pursued her studies and earned her Master’s degree from the International University de la Rioja.
Prior to her coming to Dubai, she was based in Spain for over 10 years and has worked across both Civil and Common Law jurisdictions. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and has elementary proficiency in French.
She has previously worked on projects such as the Legislative Evolution of the Cryptocurrency and the Development of Cross Border Insolvency in Spain and South America.
Her expertise in Spanish law allows us to accommodate the Spanish-speaking community in the UAE as well as 21 Spanish-speaking countries worldwide.
Outside the office, Valeria has spent time as an English teacher Siem Raeap, Cambodia.
